Fall Wine Country Wedding at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery

Eight years after meeting at a bar in Capital Hill, Leslie and Mike were celebrating with their family and friends last fall at Novelty Hill – Januik Winery. While the colorful fall leaves set the stage during the ceremony, a neutral color palette accented with blush, light green and pops of eggplant filled the rest of the venue.

Following their first look at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery and photos in the surrounding area, Leslie and Mike’s wedding party and family joined in for photos.

Tray-passed Spring Run Rose greeted guests as they arrived for the ceremony. The ceremony chairs were accented with eucalyptus vines and wine barrels with blush and eggplant floral centerpieces highlighted the alter. While Leslie and Mike were the focus of the ceremony their nieces added some extra cuteness as they walked down the aisle as flower girls.

Following a cocktail hour filled with wine, lawn game and appetizers; Leslie, Mike and their Wedding Party entered the dinner reception with the song ‘Canned Heat’ by Jamiroquia played. If you haven’t recognized the song it’s from the dance scene in Napolean Dynamite, a favorite of Leslie and Mike’s.

A dinner buffet complete with artisan bread and butter, salads, lemon roasted potatoes, marinated beets, grilled asparagus, ancho-coffee rubbed chicken and pan-seared crispy skin salmon delighted all appetites!

Andrea was my day of coordinator and she knew the venue inside and out. She was always prompt to answer any questions and had all the details figured out. She made the day run super smooth, even my guests commented how professional she was and how she made sure everything was just right. At the end of the night she sent my husband and I home with a little snack and drink package and when a bridesmaid left her shoes at the venue she dropped them off at the hotel. I could not recommend getting a day of coordinator more and Pink Blossom was a wonderful experience ~ Leslie

Monica & Branden’s Chateau Lill Wedding

We LOVE a good love story and Monica and Branden’s was just that. Here is a bit of their story as described by them…”Monica and Branden’s love story began in Eugene, OR back in the fall of 2009, although they didn’t know it yet. They actually wouldn’t know it until 4 years later, when they met towards the end of senior year at the University of Oregon. Monica used to study in Branden’s room with his dorm-mate, while Branden was glued to his laptop listening to music, or a good sports podcast. The two would continue to cross paths throughout college without meeting, until the spring of 2013, when they were officially introduced by a mutual friend.

After graduation, Branden moved to California and Monica moved back to Washington. They stayed close, despite being so far apart, talking on the phone and texting every day. They decided to plan a trip to see each other. After the trip, they picked up right where they left off that last month of college. The trips became more frequent, and both started traveling back and forth from San Jose to Seattle to see each other. Once every few months turned into once a month, then eventually they were traveling to see each other every two weeks.

After two years of a long-distance relationship, Monica decided to make the big move to the Bay Area with Branden. It was a scary decision for both of them, but they trusted their hearts. They started to build a life together in the little town of Campbell, CA, spending countless days exploring the Bay Area, taking trips to Tahoe, wine tasting in Napa and Paso Robles, and playing some good ol’ Pokemon Go.

Fast forward to September 15, 2017. Branden knew he had met the one and proposed to Monica in Sausalito, CA. On a beautiful summer night, he got down on one knee with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, and asked her, “Will you marry me?” She said yes.

On August 10, 2019 their Love Story celebrated a milestone as they became Mr. & Mrs. Fitzpatrick. B.Jones Photography captured one beautiful Chateau Lill wedding day!

With a seal of the kiss, they were officially Husband and Wife!

Monica and Branden celebrated with dinner and toasts under the reception tent at Chateau Lill highlighted with floral arrangements by Fena Flowers. Our favorite detail was the rosemary infused olive oils handcrafted by the couple and Monica’s mom! The dinner by Herban Feast was delicious and the toast by Branden’s brother had us belly laughing and shedding a tear at the same time.

The bride & groom incorporated their love of pineapples into the decor including this AMAZING grooms Pineapple Cake from BAKED.

BreeAnn, thank you so much for making everything happen tonight. You are so good at your job and a pleasure to work with. I appreciated every little thing you did today! ❤️❤️❤️ – Monica
