Toby and Sarah’s love story began as Sarah was taking her dog Peanut for a walk. A few chance meetings between walking dogs and finding lost dogs led to their Rainier Club Wedding this past January. With only 2.5 months of planning Sarah and Toby leaned on their wedding planner, BreeAnn Gale of Pink Blossom Events, to pull together a top-notch team of wedding vendors and one elegant wedding! It was all about the details and ensuring the guest experience was forefront. As guests arrived that afternoon at The Rainier Club they were greeted with a signature cocktail and a duo playing upbeat tunes as they made their way up the candlelight stairs to the ceremony. Following the ceremony guests mingled in the Rainier Room which featured a photo booth, live jazz and a not to miss lamb station in the Rainier Room fireplace! Following a plated dinner in the Heritage Room guests moved back into the Rainier Room for dancing, dessert and more fun! A dance off between the bridal party ensured one lucky nephew was sent home with a GoPro! Congratulations Sarah & Toby! Photos by La Vie Photography.
BreeAnn Gale is off-the-charts amazing. Our challenge was putting together an elegant black-tie wedding and reception for 160 friends and family in only two months. Choosing a venue, printing invites, menus, place sitting, programs, etc., flowers, dinner, a jazz ensemble, live classic music, a top notch DJ. We relied and BreeAnn and her extensive collection of top-notch vendors to make the entire night magical…..and it was. BreeAnn is an excellent communicator and changes were always carefully considered and implanted into the wedding plan in a complete and seamless way. I cannot recommend her highly enough ~ Toby

Inspired by the awakening of spring, we teamed up with Gather Design Company on this JM Cellars shoot. Using the soft, delicate bounty of spring, set against the masculine setting at JM Cellars, we were inspired by the soft and bright spring tones and textures. Incorporating the spring colors of mustard, pale yellows, soft peaches and a faint pink it was a new beginning, the start of a love story for the ages. Blooming branches, fluffy ranunculus and a few clean-lined anthurium set the tone for the inspiration. The flowers were layed on top of luxe velvet linens from La Tavola and carefully chosen rental items. The bridal gown, both clean and modern, but also romantic, made this one magical shoot all captured by Blue Rose Photography.
This spring we were delighted to be the official planner for The Sketchbook Series Seattle at JM Cellars. The Sketchbook Series is a two-day creative and educational sketch workshop, founded by Mary Phan, which teaches fellow creative professionals how to leverage sketching as a tool; enabling them to engage with their imaginations and deliver design concepts in an artistic way, while opening the door to creative collaboration with fellow design and creative professionals.
A host of creative professionals joined us at JM Cellars in a beautifully inspired classroom, co-designed by Pink Blossom Events and Gather Design Company. Pink Blossom Events and Gather Design Company conceptualized “An Awakening” to celebrate the coming of spring and all of its bounty. In a color palette of mustard, yellow, peach, orange, blush, ivory, and white, Gather Design Company created effortless, airy arrangements with the best that spring has to offer: ranunculus, tulips, garden roses, sweet peas, and blooming plum, quince and forsythia branches. The design included full blooms as well as more intricate blooms to give workshop attendees a chance to learn to sketch a variety of different flowers. The range of warm colors was echoed in the velvet table linens from La Tavola, which cascaded down the walls and onto the tables where attendees sat for lunch. The designers also utilized layering of textures and colors, as seen in the cake by Honey Crumb Cake Studio, the custom backdrop by Gather Design Company, and the paper goods and signage created by Dahlia Press and Letters By Ellen. Blue Rose Photography captured all the details of this two-day event.
Dearest BreeAnn, Thank you x 1000 for hosting me here in Seattle. I’m blown away by attention to detail and how much thought went into this class. I am forever grateful. Looking forward to two amazing days sketching together! XO, Mary
School has begun which means fall is around the corner. The coming of fall has us dreaming of crisp autumn evenings, pumpkins and pie. Today we look back at an Employee Appreciation Harvest Party we had the opportunity to plan last fall. With the promise of a party at the owner’s home if the company reached their ultimate sales goal, the employees took on the challenge and surpassed that goal! With less than a month until the celebration we pulled together a Harvest Party for their sales team and family members that left their guests feeling both appreciated and grateful to be part of a successful team milestone.
As guests arrived at the designated parking lot noted in their invite they were picked up by Butler Seattle shuttles who transported them ten minutes down the road to our client’s home. Guests exited the shuttles and were greeted with a glass of wine and tray passed appetizers as they took in the event displayed in front of them. The upper lawn featured Pumpkin Ring Toss, two Pumpkin Tic Tac Toe Boards, Pumpkin Bowling, Corn Hole, a Paint Your Own Pumpkin Station and a photo booth incorporating cornstalks, haybales and custom props.
Scattered throughout the property were five raffle stations which asked employees and their family to guess the number of harvest themed candies in each jar. Those closest to the correct number were given prizes ranging from an overnight stay at a local casino to tickets to a pro football game. Not bad! These prizes were announced at the end of dinner prior to the start of dessert.
Inside the home guests were given free range of the kitchen, deck and game room downstairs. Making their way outside on the waterfront side of the home, a live band playing country and rock hits set the mood. A second bar as well as various options for seating allowed guests to enjoy the music and the beauty of the lake. A bit too cold for swimming but the perfect backdrop for live music!
When the dinner bell rang, employees gathered underneath the tent that sat upon our clients tennis court. Long farm tables adorned with mum centerpieces and pumpkins were on display.
After dinner guests enjoyed root beer floats, mulled apple cider and hot cocoa. Apple, marionberry and pumpkin pies were also a hit!
As guests mingled with coworkers and introduced their family members to their coworkers that afternoon, my clients rejoiced in seeing their employees enjoying a celebration planned solely for their achievements. During the fall inspired dinner one could hear laughter and the joy of a successful collaboration. There were toasts of triumph, talks of future goals and a sense of pride of what one dedicated team can accomplish. The opening of the pie bar capped a sweet sales victory!
