Lily and Paul kicked off their Wedding Weekend with a Welcome Party at Fidelitas Wines in Woodinville and what a celebration it was!
Guests arrived to find their names on buttons that would act as a conversation starter as friends and family from around the country were meeting for the first time. Once inside they were invited to enjoy a glass of local wines from either the main floor or rooftop bar as tray passed appetizers came around. Chorizo Empanadas, Grilled Pineapple & Watermelon Skewers along with Shrimp Ceviche. A menu inspired by Lily’s Vietnamese roots and their mutual love of Street Tacos and a variety of delectable flavors.
As guests enjoyed his and her signature drinks ( Paul: Bar Dojo’s Tio Loco | Lily: Lychee Martini), and a mocktail inspired by ones Lily’s family would always make (a Vietnamese Salted Lime), they tried their best at completing the giant custom crossword puzzle.
After a warm welcome from Lily & Paul before food stations opened. From a Street Taco Station to a Vegan Calabacitas to a Vietnamese Pork Skewer Station (Nem Nuong) to the Vegetarian Egg Rolls that were made using Lily’s mom’s secret recipe. Delicious!
The night ended with laughter, great conversation, a round of The Shoe Game and a celebratory cake.
