New Venue Alert – Edmonds Waterfront Center

With hints of spring surrounding us, the excitement of Phase 3 next week and the opening of the new Edmonds Waterfront Center, we’d say March treated us well!

Earlier this month we had the opportunity to style the new Edmonds Waterfront Center with a talented team of vendors as the building celebrated its new beginnings. Images by Into Dust Photography.

Located on the waterfront in downtown Edmonds and steps away from the ferry terminal the outdoor area at Edmonds Waterfront Center makes for the perfect location for photos, an outdoor ceremony and lawn games!

Working with Fena Flowers we designed a low ground floral arch to compliment the natural flow of the lawn and avoid blocking any of the backdrop. Arrangements were filled with bright pink and yellow floral along with greenery found in the PNW. The yellow forsythia branches are always a favorite!

Whether in the community lounge or in the ballroom, your cocktail hour will be surrounded by large open windows highlighting the waterfront views and giving you an opportunity to fill with appetizers!

Right now we’re crazing the Crab Cakes and Fried Chicken Sliders by Shooby Doo Catering!

The awakening of Spring in the PNW gives the opportunity to spot bright yellow daffodils popping up throughout the area and what better way to highlight that beauty than in your event florals?

Tables adorned in cobalt blue linens were topped with vibrant pink and yellow centerpieces and circled with fruitwood chivari chairs. Place settings featuring waterfall mustard napkins and white chargers topped with watercolor-inspired dinner menus to match the table numbers and place cards.

The sweetheart table stood out amongst the sea of blue linens with its mustard yellow linen and lush floral spray. Daffodil blooms topped the place settings to add that special touch.

Buffet or plated, what’s your vote? Luckily for you this menu dreamed up by Shooby Doo Catering can be served plated or in a buffet!

Artisan apple salad, flat iron steak, grilled salmon, sautéed green beans, and rainbow marble potatoes are the perfect menu for a PNW wedding or event!

Desserts while not only delicious can be another vehicle to add that wow factor to your event. We chose to be daring with a mustard yellow buttercream three-tiered wedding cake as the focal piece to the dessert bar that featured petite desserts including fruit tartlets and lemon bars. Yum!

Don’t forget the kiddos! With families eager to get out of the house, be sure to keep the little ones in mind as they too will be attending your event.

From tables filled with easy to grab snacks and games galore, parents will thank you for keeping their kids busy and happy! A babysitter to watch the children is a must.

Meetings never looked so good! Being on the waterfront has its perks and the meeting rooms at Edmonds Waterfront Center definitely capture it well!

For this shoot, we set the room for a corporate meeting using the venue’s tables and chairs along with some fun surprises to keep attendees eager to take note and stay alert with mini cupcakes and a caffeine of choice!

Inspired by the city of Edmonds and the surrounding PNW Evergreen Custom Gifting created gifts featuring products that would delight both the corporate and wedding world!

Raeven’s Drive By Graduation Parade & Celebratory Family Dinner

With the COVID-19 Pandemic altering the end of the 2019-2020 school year our hearts go out to all of the seniors whose Graduation plans were put to the ultimate test. While Graduations and the Celebrations surrounding them may look a bit different, we know that with a bit of creativity and flexibility it can be a milestone celebration never to forget! Raeven’s drive by Graduation Parade and Celebratory Family Dinner was the perfect mix of family, friends, puns on quarantine, social distancing and merriment! A modern black and white theme set the stage at Chateau Lill as a well deserving Graduate was honored. Classmates, friends and family celebrated Raeven with a drive by parade complete with favors and a yearbook signing. Following the parade her family was able to come together to celebrate her Graduation from Cedarcrest High School and enjoy an intimate dinner before she heads off to UW for College this fall.

Congratulations Raeven! Class of 2020!

WIPA Seattle February 2020| Four Seasons Hotel Seattle

Wow, what an event! Working with a creative team of vendors, we brought to life an ‘Awakening of Spring’ this February at the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. As guests arrived for cocktail hour they were surrounded by winter installations of seasonal blooms as they noshed on a Seattle Seafood Market Action Station and a Beecher’s Cheese Station and took turns in the Vanity Booth from Lionize Photo Booth. The signature ‘Walk in the Woods’ drink was a favorite!

With dinner chimes ringing the ballroom doors opened to a room that was beginning to awaken from winter and enter into spring with spring blooms and soft lilac lighting. Tables draped in Ash Swell linens from BBJ Linen and place settings from CORT Party Rental were adorned with tall trees hand-crafted by Delinger & Radovich using silver birch trunks and branches and magnolia blooms as well as another selection of tables topped with low centerpieces featuring a collection of locally grown foliage and flowers.

A three-course dinner was highlighted by entrée choices of Toppenish WA Beef Tenderloin, Local Rock Fish or a Lentil and Cauliflower Risotto.

As our Keynote Speaker took the stage the foyer was being transformed behind the scenes. Soon bright lighting by Crimson Haze greeted guests as they were welcomed back into the foyer which had been transformed into a spring dessert reception. Trees were now blooming and covered in bright blooms to reflect the season. As a parting favor, bottles of Gruet awaited.

Thank you to the Four Seasons Hotel Seattle for hosting our WIPA Seattle Meeting and to the culinary team at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle who blew us away with their exceptional service and menu.

A highlight of the evening was at the end of dinner when our Chapter was sworn in as an official Chapter of WIPA! A huge thank you to our rock star board who worked so hard on this event as well as the formation of WIPA Seattle!

In closing we leave you with a few photos from our turn in the Lionize Vanity Booth! A must for all future events!

European Market | Snohomish Wedding Tour

Inspired by the European Markets and baskets full of flowers we worked with Designs by Courtney and a team of local vendors to pull our vision to life at the always stunning Jardin del Sol for the Snohomish Wedding Tour.  Our favorite highlights included a terracotta guestbook plate for guests to sign as they grabbed a terracotta plate full of lavender buds to toss as the Newlyweds kissed post ceremony. The macrame and potted plant chandelier hanging over the head table that featured a lush floral runner complete with artichokes and floral in peaches, pinks and oranges was a feast for the eyes! Enhancing the guest experience is always key and at this event guests could create their own flower crowns or create their own floral bouquets in addition to simply enjoying a long chat around the fire.  Follow along as B.Jones Photography captures all of the highlights!

Awakening of Spring ~ JM Cellars

groom-looks-lovingly-at-bride

Inspired by the awakening of spring, we teamed up with Gather Design Company on this JM Cellars shoot. Using the soft, delicate bounty of spring, set against the masculine setting at JM Cellars, we were inspired by the soft and bright spring tones and textures. Incorporating the spring colors of mustard, pale yellows, soft peaches and a faint pink it was a new beginning, the start of a love story for the ages. Blooming branches, fluffy ranunculus and a few clean-lined anthurium set the tone for the inspiration. The flowers were layed on top of luxe velvet linens from La Tavola and carefully chosen rental items. The bridal gown, both clean and modern, but also romantic, made this one magical shoot all captured by Blue Rose Photography
