Leia celebrated her Bat Mitzvah with a woodland fairy inspired celebration at Camp MacDuff this past summer. Mushrooms, snails, twinkle lights, and colors of lavender, mint green, brown, and neutrals filled the property as friends and family gathered for Shabbat Mincha as Leia became a Bat Mitzvah. Following the service, while adults played lawn games and nibbled on woodland-inspired appetizers and signature drinks, kids and teens participated in a scavenger hunt through the woods that had kids searching for croc charms to accompany a new pair of Crocs. A candle lighting ceremony and slideshow brought everyone together before food stations featuring some of Leia’s favorite foods opened. With the campfire lit for s’mores, the Horah kicked off a night of dancing and sweet treats, including cotton candy and the most adorable snail macarons. Mazel Tov, Leia!
