Liza and Casey met met while studying for each of their Captains license in Sausalito, CA and in it was no surprise that their shared hobby of sailing was the place of their first date.
Fast forward to their wedding day they chose Grand Farms in Washington State for their wedding as it was a special place for Casey’s family. Not only did Casey’s mom know the owner’s through her years of teaching but Casey’s father used to assist in the special needs riding program at Grand Farms.
That morning as Liza got hair and makeup done Casey did a fresh wash on Casey’s dad’s vintage truck that he and Liza would drive together to Grand Farms after their first look.
With the first look complete, the soon to be newlyweds were off to Grand Farms! Their wedding vibe was simple, romantic, rustic and fun incorporating an enchanted forest theme. Natural tones of dusty rose, cream, white, eucalyptus and light blue played nod to the beauty of the NW surrounded.
And one of the most important details was the lavender that Liza incorporated into the wedding to honor Liza’s mother who passed away 4yrs ago prior to her wedding.
