Julia celebrated her sunflower-inspired Bat Mitzvah at The Collective. After Julia’s morning Bat Mitzvah Ceremony at the temple, she was off to The Collective to welcome friends and family to her Bat Mitzvah Party! It was a cheerful celebration filled with sunflowers because, as Julia explained, “When I was little, I wore the same yellow sundress and sunflower hair clip in my hair every day for years, so a yellow sunflower theme felt fitting. Dress in sunflower colors, or be like me and dress like your favorite flower!”
Celebrating Julia’s love of yellow sunflowers guests were invited to take a hair clip, headband or sunflower boutonniere to wear all night!
A craft station allowed guests to create their own Body Affirmation Poster, Paint A Rock or write a Heart Note. Julia’s mission is to make everyone feel welcome and give them an outlet to create. Julia is passionate about social justice and body liberation.
