The Lodge at St. Edward State Park made for one dramatic backdrop for one touching ceremony officiated by Erin’s stepdad and one beautiful tidewater tent set a glow by the setting sun as guests dined over a family style dinner. Smilax greens covering the tent posts and chandelier cords. And a wedding that, like so many last summer, had been on a long pandemic rollercoaster and could finally celebrate freely outside! Erin and Ben’s wedding at The Lodge at St. Edward State Park was what dreams are made for!
The wedding featured a jewel tone color palette of burgundy with accents of emerald, marigold and navy. Florals were a mixture of light and dark shades of dusty pink, burgundy, white, a splash of soft peach and pops of mustard yellow that were brought to life with garden roses, dahlias, chocolate cosmos, ferns, italian ruscus and the one and only king protea!

With the seal of a kiss, it was time to celebrate outside on the event lawn at The Lodge at St. Edward Park. All the Lovage and Honey Orlean Sours were the featured signature drinks as friends and family mingled during cocktail hour.
Flutes filled with champagne were topped with escort cards directing guests to their tables and giving them something bubbly to toast with as the newlyweds were announced into dinner. Double duty for the win!
The head table set with Erin’s bridal bouquet made for a stunning focal point! The bouquet featured a mix of light and dark shades of dusty pink, burgundy and a splash of soft peach and white that was brought to life with garden roses, dahlias, chocolate cosmos, ferns, italian ruscus and the one and only king protea!
Fresh heirloom tomato salads and wood stove oven glazed carrots were pre-set on dinner tables allowing guests to enjoy dinner as soon as they were seated! One incredibly delicious family style dinner followed as detailed on custom dinner menus featuring wax seals with their initials.
As Side One began playing, guests moved into the ballroom for wedding cake, macarons, non-stop dancing, turns in the photo booth and not to forget late night sliders and flatbread!
As they left The Lodge at St. Edward Park guests took home his and her favors. Claypot Whiskey in honor of Ben’s father who had recently passed and Blackberry Jam handmade by Erin’s mom and aunt in honor of Erin’s grandmother.
Dear BreeAnn, “Thank you” just doesn’t quite seem sufficient to express our gratitude for all you have done for us over the last several months. From the many, many calls and emails to wrangling vendors to the occasionally needed small dose of reality you gave, we are forever grateful for every single ounce of help. You are a freakin’ BOSS at your job and an absolute God-send for a couple like us who have never planned an event on this level before. You have made our beautiful wedding a reality, and you have done so in a way that allows us to enjoy our day together without worry. We will forever cherish this weekend, and you have played a huge part in it. Sincerely, Erin & Ben
