It was a true delight wedding planning with Jamie and Mike and the day couldn’t have gone any better as they welcomed friends and family to Chateau Lill where they married and celebrated. Making their friend and family feel like they were a part of something special was top priority and I saw they did it well!
Having met in Chicago at a friend’s birthday party where Mike grew up they later moved to Seattle, where Jamie grew up, for work and higher education. And so it seemed fitting that Washington State be the destination for their August wedding.
Showcasing the natural beauty of the PNW to their out of town guests they incorporated elements of wood, copper and a color palette of white, green and touch of blue including light blue bridesmaid dresses and navy blue groomsmen suits.
Celebrating the just married couple cocktail hour was held around the pond featuring Chateau Lill wine and appetizers highlighting the bounty of the season.
Following cocktail hour by the pond friends and family made their way to the venue’s tent that held long farm tables accented in lush white and green floral arrangements with a pop of light blue and were identified by table numbers featuring an image of both Jamie and Mike at that age. Place settings were highlighted with copper rimmed chargers, ocean velvet napkins and rose gold flatware.
With the introduction of Jamie and Mike into the dinner reception under the Chateau tent salads soon appeared followed by a plated dinner featuring their favorite short ribs!
One of our favorite “guestbooks” was handed out by our team as we gave each table an Anniversary Card labeled with a different year. Over the years Jamie and Mike will open these Anniversary Cards from years one through fifteen. Such a fun detail and annual gift!
A ceremony pie cutting lead way to first dances and a night celebrating family, friendships and love all around! Congratulations to two of the sweetest!
“What can we say?! You truly have lived up to your reputation and exceeded our expectations. We can’t thank you enough for orchestrating such a great wedding for our daughter Jamie. With heartfelt appreciation” – Jan & Jim
