After planning through the pandemic it was a joy to see Cate and Max, two best friends, marry at JM Cellars this past July. Having first met in middle school and briefly dating in high school, it was not until Cate moved back to the Seattle area that their friendship reunited them and led them to the official start of their relationship in December of 2016.
Choosing JM Cellars as their wedding venue allowed them to showcase the beauty of the Pacific Northwest while making sure there was room for a live band and space for guests to spend much of the evening outside. One of the highlights in preparing for their wedding day was working with John Bigelow, owner and winemaker at JM Cellars, to custom blend their own red wine. That red wine turned into one magnum bottle that was used as a guestbook while the rest of the wine turned into favors allowing each guest to take home a bottle of wine and enjoy later!
