After being introduced by mutual friends, Michele and Mark knew it was a perfect fit! Each with three kids of their own, a wedding during winter break was a must to ensure everyone was home together. And so on December 28, 2019, at The Woodmark Hotel & Spa, Michele and Mark were married with their children by their sides. Classic winter white and greenery made for one elegant evening on the shores of Lake Washington.
As friends and family arrived that winter day, Mark’s son Noah played the guitar. Their pastor and good friend, Chris Griggs, officiated the wedding that blended two families into one.
After the ceremony Mark and Michele joined loved ones in the library for cocktail hour before entering the tent that had been transformed from the ceremony to a romantic winter reception. Lush greenery, winter floral arrangements and plenty of candlelight set the mood.
After toasts filled with laughter and tears, Mark and Michele invited their guests into the ballroom for dancing and dessert! Mark and the groomsmen even surprised Michele with a surprise serenade.
As the dance floor came to an end and the last dance was had, Michele and Mark retreated to their room at The Woodmark while friends and family took home a sweet treat made by a good friend. In addition the next morning the leftover floral would be donated to Madison House and local hospice care.
