Monica & Branden’s Chateau Lill Wedding

We LOVE a good love story and Monica and Branden’s was just that. Here is a bit of their story as described by them…”Monica and Branden’s love story began in Eugene, OR back in the fall of 2009, although they didn’t know it yet. They actually wouldn’t know it until 4 years later, when they met towards the end of senior year at the University of Oregon. Monica used to study in Branden’s room with his dorm-mate, while Branden was glued to his laptop listening to music, or a good sports podcast. The two would continue to cross paths throughout college without meeting, until the spring of 2013, when they were officially introduced by a mutual friend.

After graduation, Branden moved to California and Monica moved back to Washington. They stayed close, despite being so far apart, talking on the phone and texting every day. They decided to plan a trip to see each other. After the trip, they picked up right where they left off that last month of college. The trips became more frequent, and both started traveling back and forth from San Jose to Seattle to see each other. Once every few months turned into once a month, then eventually they were traveling to see each other every two weeks.

After two years of a long-distance relationship, Monica decided to make the big move to the Bay Area with Branden. It was a scary decision for both of them, but they trusted their hearts. They started to build a life together in the little town of Campbell, CA, spending countless days exploring the Bay Area, taking trips to Tahoe, wine tasting in Napa and Paso Robles, and playing some good ol’ Pokemon Go.

Fast forward to September 15, 2017. Branden knew he had met the one and proposed to Monica in Sausalito, CA. On a beautiful summer night, he got down on one knee with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, and asked her, “Will you marry me?” She said yes.

On August 10, 2019 their Love Story celebrated a milestone as they became Mr. & Mrs. Fitzpatrick. B.Jones Photography captured one beautiful Chateau Lill wedding day!

With a seal of the kiss, they were officially Husband and Wife!

Monica and Branden celebrated with dinner and toasts under the reception tent at Chateau Lill highlighted with floral arrangements by Fena Flowers. Our favorite detail was the rosemary infused olive oils handcrafted by the couple and Monica’s mom! The dinner by Herban Feast was delicious and the toast by Branden’s brother had us belly laughing and shedding a tear at the same time.

The bride & groom incorporated their love of pineapples into the decor including this AMAZING grooms Pineapple Cake from BAKED.

BreeAnn, thank you so much for making everything happen tonight. You are so good at your job and a pleasure to work with. I appreciated every little thing you did today! ❤️❤️❤️ – Monica
