Claire’s botanical inspired 30th birthday party was the perfect way to ring in a new decade. Celebrating with friends and family at The Little London Plane, guests arrived and were invited to grab a bit to eat; sip one of the specialty cocktails; write down advice for Claire; strike a pose in front of the flower wall or make their own floral adornment. Of course a birthday party isn’t complete without a fabulous birthday cake and that is exactly what Honey Crumb Cake Studio created! Disguised as an orchid terrarium, Honey Crumb Cake Studio crafted the terrarium that featured a cake base textured with chocolate and edible paint then adorned with hand-rolled fondant vines and piped leaves, and topped with sugar orchids and buds, crushed cookie “dirt” and a wired gumpaste cage. The cake itself was a vanilla cake with apple cider reduction and a cinnamon-whiskey cream cheese filling. If that wasn’t enough guest also had the opportunity to indulge in a donut from the donut wall! Thank you to Lloyd Photographers for capturing one special birthday!
