Liz & Ashwin’s Home Wedding

Ashwin and Liz’s love story started when they meet through mutual friends at work and their journey to marriage began when Ashwin proposed the Sunday after Thanksgiving with their dog Bruce, followed by dinner at one of their favorite neighborhood restaurants, Raccolto. Choosing Liz’s childhood home for the venue we worked with Liz, Ashwin and their parents as they weaved together the gardens that were so important to Liz’s parents as well as Indian elements ensuring that things were simple, yet meaningful. {Photos by Clara Ganey Photography}

The significance of the elephant to Liz and Ashwin is not only rooted in the values that the elephant represents (wisdom, memory, power, longevity, loyalty, reliability, and determination) but also because of it’s cultural prominence in India, where Liz and Ashwin grew so close.

The ceremony, officiated by their two dads, was highlighted with a love song written and sang by Ashwin during the ceremony.

Kaspars Catering served one delicious family style Indian dinner featuring some of the couples favorite dishes.

BreeAnn,

As I’m pulling out my computer for the first time, I wanted to take the time to send a little longer thank you email than I could write on my phone.  We are so beyond pleased with how well everything went, and cannot thank you enough.  Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be, and ran so smoothly (even your quick decisions on the shuttle!) thanks to your expertise.  So many guests been saying it was the best wedding they have been to.

Thank you so much for all of the time and effort you put into making this so incredible over the last 9 months.  You gave amazing recommendations on vendors, and everything came together just perfectly.

Dana & Alex ~ July 25, 2015

Meeting at work, Dana knew she was in trouble as after their first date, where they walked around Green Lake and talked for hours, she knew this was the guy she was going to marry. Fast forward to July 25, 2015 they found themselves amongst the beauty of Jardin del Sol getting ready to marry. Ian Grant Photography was on hand to capture their wedding day. Snohomish Wedding Tour ~ June 1, 2014

Last June we participated in the Snohomish Wedding Tour at Jardin del Sol and it was by far one of our favorite inspirational setups to date! We still can’t get enough of the bee theme ranging from the “Get Your Buzz On” bar to the bees incorporated in both the floral and paper goods. We also had fun pulling together three different ideas for a kids table. This was a sweet event to design and Rick+Anna Photography captured it just perfectly!

Betsy & Nat ~ May 31, 2014

Last year we had the honor of helping Betsy and Nat plan their May 31, 2014 wedding at Craven Farm in Snohomish. Betsy and Nat who first met in 2005 and started dating in November of 2012 were officially engaged on a romantic trip in Victoria B.C. Canada in August of 2013. With Craven Farm and their photographer Kristen Honeycutt booked, we met with them to start planning their dream wedding day.  We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spring day as Betsy and Nat tied the knot and celebrated with friends and family. Our favorite detail of the wedding happened to be the ice cream sandwich dessert table complete with a ice cream cutting cake – yum!

Morgan & Levi ~ May 30, 2014

Morgan & Levi’s May 30th Lord Hill Farms wedding came together perfectly with the help of family and friends who helped make their day complete including floral designed by the bride’s aunt, live ceremony music performed by the bride’s sister alongside two close friends and not to forget the bride also happens to be a cousin of BreeAnn, owner of Pink Blossom Events. As Morgan and her bridesmaids got ready at French Creek Estates next door to Lord Hill Farms, Morgan had her first look with her dad before she made her way outside to greet her soon to be husband. Morgan&Levi16 See the full story
