We had the honor of planning Alex and Aaron’s San Juan Island wedding held at Alex’s family cabin overlooking Westcott Bay, not too far from Roche Harbor Resort, last summer. Two years of planning went into one magical wedding weekend that highlighted the love of their sweet dog Penny and the surrounding San Juan Islands which held fond memories for Alex & Aaron as well as Alex’s entire family. Soft blues and greens were accented by touches of sea glass throughout the property including sea glass escort cards with calligraphy by Letters by Ellen. One of our favorite pieces of the wedding was the driftwood chuppah built by Bloom San Juan and accented with floral by Robin’s Nest. Thank you Katie Parra Photography for capturing every detail of one unforgettable wedding day!
BreeAnn was a fabulous wedding planner. I am so happy that I chose her to help in coordinating our wedding. She was so well organized and helpful and creative with her suggestions. We ended up doing a backyard style wedding and I know that I would never have been able to pull it off without BreeAnn’s help. She was not only patient and professional during the planning process, but she made the day of our actual wedding completely stress free. I felt so calm and confident that BreeAnn would handle any problems that might come up and I ended up having a magnificent day. I would highly recommend working with her. Thank you so much BreeAnn! ~ Alex
As an event planner the greatest accomplishment is creating an event that truly speaks to your client and leaves a long lasting memory for both the guests and the host. When I received a call from Kathy she had recently lost her husband and was not sure she wanted a Celebration of Life but knew that this was something she needed to do for their family, friends and colleagues as they were asking for closure. With less than two months of lead time, a lot for a Celebration of Life, and knowing he was a sharp dresser, a seeker of fine shoes and nice ties and enjoyed a good scotch I set forth planning a Celebration of Life that would allow eighty five loved ones a chance to celebrate his life and enjoy a night of only the finest as that is what Steve would have wanted!
As the night came to an end one could not have found a better way to pay tribute. From the shoe shine station to ensure guests left with a better pair of shoes to bars featuring his private collection of single scotch malt whiskey served by an man in a kilt to a menu showcasing his favorite foods and not to mentioned a display of his prized shoes asking; Cinderfella if the shoe fits, wear it home. Not a detail was missed.
As the planner of this celebration I took pride in knowing that I had done my absolute best to honor a man that I had never met in person. When I first met with my client, there were no plans beyond a venue, a date and a desired caterer and she trusted me to become the guidance and vision she needed to pull off this event. Through planning with his wife and speaking with his treasured friends and family I couldn’t help but feel that I knew him in every sense and showcased a life that most only dream of fulfilling.
…I simply have no words! …I will gush in a much more professional manner when I’ve had some sleep. It was truly the nicest, loveliest, beautiful, and meaningful party I have ever been to. The feedback from attendees and vendors was so positive. You have done a superb job and Ravan represented you and your company to the highest degree. ~ Kathy
Last August Chenying and Nick were married amongst the blooming lavender fields at Woodinville Lavender and celebrated with an intimate dinner catered by Twelve Baskets Catering. We simply adored working with Chenying and Nick planning each detail of their wedding day and were simply over the moon with the photos taken by Katie Parra Photography! One of our favorite memories of their day was watching their guests soak in the experience of the lavender farm as they toured the fields, sipped lavender infused lemonade, experienced hands on the lavender distilling process and left with lavender chocolates to remind them of one unforgettable celebration in the lavender fields.
Happy Anniversary Chenying & Nick!
The wedding was perfect! Thanks so much for your hard work, it was so lovely. It was great working with you, and happy to give referrals in the future. ~ Chenying
On August 8th Sally and Bob wed in front of an intimate group of family and close friends at their waterfront home but the grand celebration was saved for August 9, 2015 at Inglewood Golf Club. As friends and family gathered at the Golf Club it was obvious that Sally and Bob were blessed. Love, laughter and dancing kicked off the newlyweds happily ever after! After meeting on Match.com Rob and Elizabeth’s whirlwind romance was sealed at Hotel 1000 on June 6, 2015. With grown children of their own it was extremely important to them that their kids play a role in their wedding day as the two families became one. Katie Parra Photography captured a wedding day full of romance and family.
Hi BreeAnn, just got home and now catching up on everything. My family had an awesome time and I have told several friends how valuable you were to us. Thank you for everything you did. The wedding would not have been such a wonderful experience without you there coordinating everything. We thank you, Rob & Elizabeth
Having recently moved to Seattle and in the midst of remodeling a newly purchased home (hence the hardhats), Kacey reached out to Pink Blossom Events to help throw her husband Chris one memorable party for family and friends. The afternoon of the party guests boarded the Yachta Yachta in South Lake Union for cocktails and appetizers on Lake Union making a perfect setting to show off their city to friends and family. After a spin on the lake guests headed up to Queen Anne where they dined on a gourmet meal by City Catering Company and sipped on cocktails mixed by their favorite downtown bar on the lawn of their new home. We must say, we wish our 30th Birthday could have mirrored this one!
BreeAnn – Thank you for helping me to throw Chris a wonderful 30th Birthday Party. It certainly wouldn’t have been as fabulous if you weren’t at the helm. Looking forward to working with you in the future! All the best, Kacey
I have worked on a variety of events with BreeAnn and I am always impressed with her creativity and organization. Her attention to detail brings together all the pieces by knowing every aspect of the event including production provided by other vendors. By working with all those involved, she makes sure every element is presented perfectly creating a seamless event. I am always in awe how she is able to make each event unique and truly expresses the client’s personality. I truly enjoy working with BreeAnn and look forward to being inspired by each event. Sara and Stephen met the summer before their sophomore year at the University of Washington and right away became fast friends. After six years of dating and experiencing the highs and lows of life together they took the next step of moving in together and soon after were planning their wedding day. After setting their wedding date and venue they soon became lost bringing their vision and ideas to life and that’s when Pink Blossom Events stepped in. Having chosen a book themed wedding to incorporate one of their favorite past times and wanting to incorporate Sara’s love of lavender and color we couldn’t wait to get started! Taking into consideration The Rainier Chapter House’s architecture and historic past (it happens to be a replica of George Washington’s Mount Vernon home) as well as the season we set forth on a soft color palette of spring pastels with a vintage yet romantic spin on the biblical theme. Some of our favorite touches that day include mini books fashioned as escort cards, letters as table numbers and a dessert bar filled with cookies made by Sara’s grandma and a gorgeous wedding cake made by the brides Sisters.
