September weddings at Saltwater Farms may be some of our favorite. The island is glowing in late summer blooms and the view looking over Friday Harbor can’t be beat! From the ceremony overlooking the water to cocktail hour at the gathering space at the Inn to the event barn Saltwater Farm is one incredible place in the heart of San Juan Island. This sweet wedding was filled with personal details and their golden retriever following wherever they went.
Playing cards customized with each guest name and table number was the perfect detail to highlight Anna and John’s game nights.
The barn was filled with farm tables set to host a farm-to-table, family-style dinner. Tables were layered with loose greenery runners of eucalyptus and salal, accented with candlelight and bud vases filled with dahlias, cosmos, scabiosa, and seasonal blooms from around the island. Place settings were finished with sage Jupiter glasses, gold silverware, and blue-green geometric patterned napkins.
